Sure, I liked P. K. but...

I was asked to write an article about the draft held in Buffalo last Friday, which ultimately was overshadowed by the Subban trade rumours (thanks George Laraques and 91.9 Sport). The trade never materialised then, which in retrospect I think is a good thing.

I don't know what I was thinking when I subjected myself to reviewing producer Michael Bay's latest epic gem Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows, directed by David Green. As my friend put it "Ughh!!! Remi why are you subjecting yourself to this?". My answer before walking in was to see how bad this diamond in the rough or polished masterpiece of a film this is.

Local authorities have launched a campaign reminding people that buying sex is against the law. 

According to CTV News, the Montreal police and the RCMP are both working to crack down on prostitution and sexual tourism in light of the Montreal Grand Prix. 

The RCMP's Camille Habel says that engaging in buying such services contributes to Canada's problem with sexual exploitation.

An accident involving the collision of vehicle and a horse-drawn carriage prompted activists to call for a ban on Montreal’s caleche industry, on Thursday,

According to CTV News, a video surfaced of a white horse stumbling on top of the roof of a car at an intersection.

Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre has stated that efforts will be made to improve the city’s caleche industry as he feels horse-drawn carriages are part of Montreal’s identity.

Animal-rights activists will stage a protest at Montreal’s city hall on Sunday.
