A new Quebec bill has made it possible for Quebec’s transgender youths to change their names and official gender preferences.

According to CBC News, at least 50 teenagers have officially corrected their identity documents to reflect who they really are.

Students have reported feeling much happier at school since the law has been made active, but the federal government is still working on improving the lives of transgender Canadians all across the country.

A father and his son are both facing charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault and attempted murder in British Columbia.

According to CTV News, a 30 year old woman was brutally attacked on Saturday and is currently being treated for her injuries.

53-year-old Stanley Filiatrault and his son, William Filiatrault will appear in court on Monday, following these horrific events.

Republican businessman and former reality TV star Donald Trump surprised many on Tuesday when he won the American presidential election.

According to Reuters, President Barack Obama will give a speech on Wednesday addressing Tuesday’s election.

Obama called Donald Trump and invited him to the White House for a meeting this Thursday.
