Burnt Offerings

Many, many centuries ago, in the bowels of the underworld, dwelt the forgotten few. These few were the Titans that had been banished deep in the pits of Tartarus eons ago who bid their time, waiting for their shackles to weaken, to loosen even slightly for the chance to escape....

....

For countless centuries, their influence has been felt, and has been revealed in the hearts of the wicked and the weak. Their influence spread into a seemingly gentle and harmless yeti, who then became the Doctor who founded Ravenous Medicine. After many years, she had found the perfect apprentice, a young man with great potential....

It was this man who discovered the means to let loose the Titans of old, and as thanks to this man, they have spared his life in the form of eternal servitude. It is this man now, who must make offerings to these Titans, and he does so every week in his rituals. These are his Burnt Offerings.
