Is your Tuesday night lacking in heaviness?  Well, CJLO is looking to change that.  Starting August 5th, the first Tuesday of every month is Heavy Night at McClean's Pub, located at 1210 Rue Peel.  CJLO DJs will be giving you all the heavy music you can handle, from punk to metal and everything in between.  Plus, there will be food and drink specials all night to keep the party rockin'.  So come on down to McLean's starting at 9PM and turn Tuesday into your favorite day of the week, from the station that knows heavy, CJLO.

Saturn De Los Angeles hosts Champions of the Local Scene this Wednesday with special guests Montreal-based hardcore/screamo duo Place D'Armes! Tune in to hear exclusive tracks from their debut EP that blends metal, post-rock, and shoegaze into a brew of local awesome. It doesn't end there! Jessie and Reggie from the band have curated a playlist of their favourite Montreal acts especially for the episode. It all starts Wednesday, July 23 at 6 PM, only on CJLO.

This Monday is the second anniversary of The F Hole, and host Erica Bridgeman is celebrating with live classical music!
