Oh no! It's the dread of having to review another sequel, which only means that it has to supersede its primary, the first one in the series. After the strong success of the first Pitch Perfect (2012), a sequel was bound to happen in the hopes to answer the fan's question, "whatever happened to The Bellas?" Luckily, Pitch Perfect 2 retains its core to showcase great musical numbers set to choreography, a great cast ensemble who make up The Bellas, and the witty banter of John and Gail. This film is a directorial debut for Elizabeth Banks.

Known for bringing some of the best acts to the city, as well as helping excellent local music get its start, these storied local promoters are celebrating their 15th anniversary this year: #BSTB15. How did they get their start? CJLO's Music Director Omar Sonics recently caught up with Meyer Billurcu from Blue Skies Turn Black.

Why did you decide to start BSTB, what was the first event?

Montreal promoters Blue Skies Turn Black are turning 15 this year! Come celebrate the first day of school at #BSTB15: Modest Mouse and Operators at Metropolis- a CJLO and CSU co-presentation! Modest Mouse will be touring their first new release in over 5 years 'Strangers to Ourselves', while Operators, a new band from Wolf Parade/Handsome Furs/Divine Fits member Dan Boeckner released their debut EP August 5!
