Radio Fun

Hosted by

Every Sunday from 10PM to 11PM on CJLO.com (1690 AM - Montreal), DJ Idle Matt (formerly of the Idle Minds, and who can't think of better DJ name at the moment) plays the best in punk/hardcore/alt/indie/whatever-he-damn-well-feels-like-playing on a show he calls "Radio Fun"... because honestly, who doesn't like to have fun?
Matt has fairly eclectic tastes, but you can be sure that he'll always play classic punk and hardcore from the 70s and 80s.

Here's a timeline that Exclaim just posted on Glenn Danzig. The edited version in the printed magazine is terrible, but the online version is much better.

0+2=1½

1991/2010

When Nomeansno recorded 0+2=1, the band had a few leftover tracks that ultimately were re-recorded for future releases. These versions featured either just the Wright Brothers or the Wrights with Tom Holliston on guitar. However, Andy Kerr, the erstwhile archivist, recently transferred his cassette copy of these "lost" tracks to digital format and the band agreed that you, the dear longtime fan, should enjoy the alternate versions of familiar songs as well as some demos...

(ok... this is a little late)

As promised on a past show, here's an excellent timeline that Exclaim magazine did on Roky Erickson:
