After fourteen years, NASAs Messenger spacecraft ran out of fuel and crashed into Mercury on Thursday.

According to BBC, Messenger slammed into a region of the planets north pole at roughly 14,000 kilometers per hour, most probably obliterating the spacecraft.

During its mission, Messenger sent more than 270,000 images and 10 terabytes of scientific measurements back to Earth.

Guercy Edmond has been acquitted of hit and run, 3 years after running over a violent client with his taxi cab.

According to CTV News, the Quebec court found him not guilty of aggravated assault and dangerous driving.

The incident was caught on video, depicting the intoxicated client attacking the cab driver.

Christopher Husbands has been sentenced to 30 years in prison with no parole after fatally shooting two people at Toronto’s Eaton Centre in 2012.

According to the Globe and Mail, Husbands has been convicted of two counts of second-degree murder, five counts of aggravated assault, one of count of criminal negligence and one count of carelessly discharging a firearm.
