In an effort to combat these winter blues, CJLO proudly presents a new batch of bright-eyed, bushy-tailed hosts and DJs. Their shows provide a Spring-like renewal to our airwaves.


At the Movies (with Iconic Sounds) presents The Golden Ticket Awards

On the February 25th, At The Movies (With Iconic Sounds) will be giving out a prestigious award in cinema: The Golden Ticket. Who is worthy of such a title? It's up to the voters. There are 10 categories and 4-5 deserving nominees per category. Anyone is welcome to log on and vote up until February 24th at 8 am. We will announce the winners on February 25th in our Golden Ticket award ceremony, so tune in from 8:00 to 9:00AM. Thanks for participating!

Sunday on FunkShui - 9 to 5: The Musical!

On Sunday, January 12th FunkShui will be interviewing the cast and makers of Marianopolis Theater Company's rendition of 9 to 5: The Musical! Tune in at 2 PM EST to hear the cast sing "I Just Might" and fun anecdotes about the making of the show.

BVST Goes Santapalooza!

For the second year in a row, Angelica turns over the reins of BVST to Mr. Santapalooza himself, Matt Kiernan, for the holliest, jolliest two hours of rare, vintage and newly released Christmas music. Kringle cats and dashing dames will delight in Santapalooza's carefully curated playlist of covers and originals, so slide on your slippers, spike your eggnog and tune in next Wednesday, December 18th from 7 to 9pm ET as BVST goes Santapalooza! CJLO Artist Outreach Project Wraps Up

After 12 months of hard work, the CJLO Artist Outreach Program is complete and our final compilation is available for public consumption for all you Montreal music lovers! CJLO would just like to take this opportunity to thank all the bands involved, it was excellent working with you all. We encourage you to check out their recordings and share them with all of your friends!  


We're Broadcasting Live from the Master School of Bartending Friday, December 20th

Ho! Ho! Ho!

With the Holidays coming, want to boost your income and your social life? Join us at the Master School of Bartending on Friday, December 20th located at the corner of Guy and Sherbrooke and train to become a certified bartender or table server.  CJLO will be broadcasting live from the school and we'd love to see you there! We'll start broadcasting at 6pm with a mini-course from 6:30 to 8 and one from 8:15-9:45.

This week's episode of Wagner's Beard will feature special guest Sarah Halmarson. Sarah's an up-and-coming soprano with an already impressive resume, including performances of the Messiah with the Winnipeg Symphony, and The Magic Flute with Manitoba Opera.
