Two die in another Virginia Tech shooting

Another shooting at Virginia Tech. Two people were shot and killed around noon on Thursday. The police are continuing their investigation.

Reports alleged that the second victim was the shooter, but this has not yet been confirmed. The other victim was an on-duty traffic cop named Derrick Crouse. He was a father of five.

Witnesses say that the police officer had stopped a car on campus when he was shot. The shooter then ran to the parking lot where the second victim was found.

According to police, video footage matched the description of the second victim. 32 people including the gunman were killed in another shooting at Virginia Tech in 2007.

The school was fined 55 thousand dollars for their slow security resoonse during that shooting.They have since implemented new security technology in cases of shootings like these.
