Thousands of students took to the streets Sunday in anticipation of a possible provincial election.
The big turnout for the event, which began at Emile Gamelin Park, showed that many remain passionate in the movement despite calming down during the summer.
According to CTV news, while student leaders maintained that tuition hikes are still the major issue, others came out to protest the government's environmental and economic policies.
CLASSE spokesperson Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois stated that as the youth of Quebec, it is our responsibility to also take a position on the general direction that Quebec has taken.
While CLASSE promised it won't support one particular party, it will, along with FEUQ, target the Liberal party.
The student groups will soon vote on whether to go back to class in mid-August.
