Loyola On Ice!

CJLO, The Concordia University Dean of Students Office, The CSU, The Concordia Stingers and the Concordia Multifaith Chaplaincy are very proud to invite you to take a break from studying or working and come and have some fun on ice!

As part of the We Value campaign, there will be a full week of activities and events on the Loyola campus during the first week of the 2010 Olympics!

Come on up to the G-Lounge (CC-408) on Friday, February 12th to watch the opening ceremonies and cheer on our athletes. The G-Lounge will also be showing the Olympics from 9am to 5 pm all week long.

Be sure to check out the Loyola Chapel for an exhibit of Loyola's past Winter Carnivals and Concordia Olympians from 9am - 5pm all week from Monday to Friday. Also enjoy your lunch while viewing winter themed films from 12 to 2 pm at The Hive all week except Wednesday.

On Tuesday, February 16th Loyola will be hosting it's own Winter Carnival on the Quad featuring a snow sculpture competition, Centraide tug-of-war, free maple syrup on ice, hot chocolate adn soup and music by CJLO Djs. There will be great prizes like movie passes and a trip for two  to New York!

To round out the week, on Wednesday the 17th there will be an official opening of  the new CSU offices at Loyola and a re-launch of the Loyola free luncheon at noon in the Campus Centre. On Thursday the 18th enjoy a little friendly competition in the G-Lounge while playing your favorite board games and on Friday the 19th come over and visit the brand new Stingers Dome!

There's fun for everyone all week long so we'll be sure to see you...On The Ice!
