Live Music Sunday - Penny For the Selfless and Pink Cocoon

February is a cold month, but CJLO is looking to warm your Sundays. This week, tune for a double dose of live music as Pancake Party and Grade A Explosives will both be having bands come into CJLO's recording studio, The Oven

Fist, from 1 - 2PM, tune in for a performance by Montreal "Doom Blues" band Pink Cocoon. They were in on Grade A Explosives a few weeks back, but they're on Pancake Party this time with a whole new set list for you to enjoy.

Speaking of Grade A Explosives, from 4 - 6PM, listen in as Montreal metal group Penny for the Selfless comes in and performs some songs for you as well as talk about what it's like to be a young band in Montreal. It will be hot off the heels of a show they're doing at Piranha Bar with Sever the Voices Feb 2nd, so if you want a sneak preview of what you might hear, check them out live Friday night. More info on the event, HERE

So tune in Sunday for some great local tunes as you try to stay warm.
