Classic Air Rallye 2010Defense Minister Peter McKay said on Sunday he knew since 2010 of the $10 billion difference between the amount told to the public and what was internally known of the F-35 Fighter Jets’ price tag.

Carter mets HOFAround 2000 suggestions were sent to the City of Montreal on ways to honor the late baseball star Gary Carter.

According to CTV News, mayor Gérald Tremblay says they have received many good suggestions and the selection committee will try to quickly come to a decision.

George Zimmerman, the man who has fatally shot a teenager in Florida on February 26, might face a hate crime charge against him by the US Justice Department according to the CBC.

 

So far, the only clue prosecutors have is a racial slur Zimmerman whispered during one of his emergency calls following the shooting.

 

A person convicted of hate crime may be charged with a life in prison sentence if a death is involved.

 

As of yet, Zimmerman has not been charged with any crime and is claiming self-defence. He claims the teenager attacked him while he was walking back to his truck.

A mob of drunken students celebrating St. Patrick’s Day fuelled a massive street fire in the east end of London, Ontario last Saturday night.

According to the Globe and Mail, the crowd of 1000 people were not only constantly adding fuel to the fire; they were also attacking any officer getting in their way.

Police Constable Krissy Belanger says rioters were throwing bricks, beer bottles and tires to any police officer or firefighter who tried to intercept them.

It was already past 4 am when the crowd finally dispersed.
