YES!+FEST'09 - Concert for Non-Violence!
Hey Everyone!
Besides my life as a Purple Carrot, I am also one of the organizers of YES!+ FEST'09, a benefit concert that will bring together hundreds of students and young professionals to take a stand for non-violence. The concert will feature live music from Montreal's own Papagroove, Mathieu Lippe, and Elie Haroun,and an enchanting dance performance by Sudeshna Maulik. It will be anincredible opportunity for young people in the Montreal community tocome together and take action towards positive change in theirindividual lives, as well as in the global family.
YES!+FEST'09 is presented by the Art Of Living Foundation, an international NGO active in over 140 countries worldwide. It will bring together students and young professionals to take action towards creating a violence-free society. YES!+FEST'09 is also a celebration of an extraordinary movement called YES!+ that has improved the lives of thousands of young people worldwide.
Young people deal with incredible amounts of stress everyday. This is one of the causes of violent behaviour and we would like to do our part to improve the quality of life for our peers and to create a violence-free society. We are a group of students and young professionals who are are organizing YES!+FEST'09 for this very reason. We working very hard to make this fundraiser a huge success and would like to share with hundreds of young people how the YES!+ course has transformed our lives.

Haiti has been shocked by the severity of yesterday's earthquake. Needless to say, resources are needed to restore the country to a sustainable condition.
The International Association for Human Values is an international humanitarian and educational NGO dedicated to enhancing the quality of life through its various development projects.
