Senators face elimination

Ottawa Senators faced elimination from the NHL playoffs on Thursday night when they lost game seven to the New York Rangers.

According to CBC News this was the Rangers first game seven victory in New York since winning the Stanley Cup in 1994.

The Rangers have Defencemen Mark Staal and Dan Girardi to thank for the goals they scored which lead their team to victory.

Their 2-1 victory against the Senators enables them to move on in the playoffs to face the Washington Capitals.
